WOW!!! Look how horrible I am at this blogging stuff! HAHA well here I am going to make this one a long one with all the updates and stories!!!
Ok well to start things off I am 28 Weeks tomorrow!!! I am getting so much closer to the day I get to meet my precious bundle! I have gained a "few" pounds... Oh ok well how does 36 sound since day one. Not too shabby.. I am measuring around the belly at about 37"! WOW what a big boy I have growing in there! I have been doing really well with all the "pregnancy issues". I have not had many issues to speak of actually. I have been pretty lucky. Right now all I really have to "DEAL" with is is SHARP heels that he DIGS so kindly into my innards! I love feeling him move but each day they get a little more painfull! That just makes me smile as weird as that may seem because he is getting SO big! I Love my Baby!
Baby Boy Brooks has a name now! Logan Skye Brooks is the man with the plan! My precious son that resides inside me! I love him SO much and he is not even here to play yet!!!
Sunday August 9th 2008 we had a joint baby shower in Ft Worth Texas! It was great! My sister-in-law and I had a joint baby shower and it was a great turn out! The shower was great and kind of sureal to me because i have been to so many baby showers that were never mine and it was weird that this was for US! Wow! It was a male/female baby shower to welcome BABY BROOKS AND BABY APONTE! It was so much fun! We made out like bandits! We got almost everything that we need to get this little man going in life! Logan is spoiled ROTTEN!!! I love him to death and I really want him to come and play but want it when HE is ready! I will post pictures when I get them on here! We have SO much to take pictures of!!!
4D Ultrasound is on the way! My Dad is here to visit! He will be here until Sunday! I am so blessed to have him here to help get things ready for baby to get here. We are going to get the ultrasound Wednesday! I am so excited that I am going to get this done and that GRANDPA is going to be there to share this AMAZING experience with us!!!

Week 14 of pregnancy!
Well I am horrible at this keeping up on the blogs!!! I guess it is the pregnancy setting in! You would think since I have two brains now I would remember things better.... Well that is not the case! ;) Mama gave her brain to the baby and now it doesn't work! Enough about me!...
I had my second OB/GYN appointment on April 27th 2008! I was so excited cause I thought that I was going to get to see my baby, but I didn't. The Dr. just poked and looked and told me I looked great and had a 12 week Uterus. That is right on the dot! We heard the heart beat! When Dr. Grant put the Fetal Doppler on my stomach she began to laugh... Hmmm.. I didnt know if it was good or bad. I said "Is something wrong?" She responded with "You sure do have an active one in there!" I looked at my wonderful husband and smiled and he said "IT MUST BE MINE!!!" It was great! We were also informed of a shot that I am going to have a couple of times durring my pregnancy because I am RH Negative. My blood type. It is nothing serious but could be if I didn't get the shots. It is called Rohgam. It is something that helps fight out antibodies that might be in the baby. Nothing too serious. I just get tired of being stabbed with a needle! But it is worth it.
Life is great! I just had my first mother's day and man I am lucky to have my husband! He is PERFECT! A dozen yellow roses and peanut butter cookies! HOW AMAZING! I love you Chase! I have been fight a virus. It got to me last week pretty good. I was VERY sick but my DR. Was not too worried said it will pass and what do you know it did!!! WOO HOO!!! I can eat again! I am now 14 Weeks Pregnant and in my second trimester and the neausea is not there! I love it! I can eat again! I am greatfull! I AM STARTING TO SHOW!!! I cant wait to get bigger and start to feel my little boo in there! GOD IS GREAT!

Week 7 of Pregnancy
What a blessing it is to be carrying a little one inside of me! It still has not hit me... Today I had me first appt at the OB/GYN! It was nothing too special though:( I got tons of lab work done and got bunches of free stuff!!! WOW it is real I AM HAVING A BABY!!! In the free stuff they included a free sample of TUMS (much needed) and a newborn baby diaper!! It was so sweet! I am so excited. I have an appt of April 29th 2008 to have the first ultra sound done! I WILL HEAR THE HEARTBEAT!!! WOOOOO HOOOO!!!
So far this pregnancy is going smooth! I feel tired much more than normal. Trying to work and be pregnant is tough. I cant just curl up in a ball and sleep like I want to... Grrr. Nausea has set in. I have to either CONSTANTLY eat or I feel nasty... I hate it. I will say that it does not feel like I am Pregnant yet though. It just feels like I am going to float away from being bloated. I have to pee ALL the time and want to eat random foods! I feel great so far and pray it will stay that way!!
